Paul Vine is the Commercial Director of OHM Energy Solutions, a collaborative renewable energy company that helps companies decarbonise their businesses. Private and public sector organisations across the UK, from manufacturers to monasteries, use OHM Energy Solutions to reach their net zero targets.
Having consulted for a number of organisations such as Chichester Council, Southern Water’s Innovation Energy team, and the United Learning Trust, Paul has developed a vast industry network and paved the way for OHM to be onboarded with international energy companies such as Centrica Plc.
In 2024, Paul was elected as a Trustee for United Nations Association Eastbourne, a corporate philanthropy movement dedicated to helping the community reach net zero. 10 000 local companies have now joined.
Paul is a huge advocate of Community Energy and supports many community groups and pilot schemes to alleviate fuel poverty and build a more equitable society.
Paul developed his passion for renewable energy through an apprenticeship route and today commits much of his time supporting the next generation of engineers and employers with training.
Sussex-based Gun Brewery has won numerous awards since selling its first artisan pint back in 2015. With success came the need to move to larger premises in 2022, and as a company firmly committed to social and environmental responsibility, Gun Brewery took the opportunity to reduce their carbon footprint by installing a solar PV system.
